Das Viertel im Norden des Potsdamer Stadtteils Babelsberg, direkt am Griebnitzsee gelegen, ist das „deutsche Beverly Hills“. Unweit der Medienstadt Babelsberg mit den berühmten Filmstudios liegt seit der Kaiserzeit die so genannte „Villenkolonie Neubabelsberg“.

The Neubabelsberg Villa Colony in the north of Potsdam’s Babelsberg district is the “German Beverly Hills”. Churchill, Stalin, Truman stayed here in several mansions during the Potsdam Conference 1945. Since the 1870s many celebrities lived and are living here. The beautiful quarter is located directly on the lake Griebnitzsee, not far from the Babelsberg Media City with its famous film studios since the imperial era.
